Tips on Dieting (Don’t)

  • Don’t DIET . you will focus on everything you cant have .Diets are negative , they are all about money , they don’t work. If there was a diet that worked there wouldn’t be so many of them would there .There is one but telling you to eat normally and sensibly would make anyone rich .
  • Don’t starve.This will do exactly what we don’t want .Your metabolism will grind a halt your body will eat its lean mass so it has less to feed. it will store fat future famine periods and add more to store as soon as you eat again just for good measure
  • Don’t even get to hungry so that you reach for the nearest thing because it isn’t ¬†going to be fresh,grilled tuna steak on a bed of crisp salad, lightly drizzled in olive oil wit a garnish of steamed asparagus is it , trust me
  • Don’t binge . Eat and think like the slim , lean , fit, healthy person you want to be . If you eat a chocolate , fine , great enjoy it , savour it, after all it’s nice . but do not feel everything is ruined ,all your hard work wasted because that will make you depressed enough to head for the fridge , polish off the other 4 bars and wash it all down with a tub of ice cream and a pack of biscuits
  • Don’t eat poison .Well you wouldn’t would you . Unfortunately many substances that are toxic to our bodies are regularly used and abused .Alcohol for instance is not only a very empty form of nourishment ,it strips your body of nutrients, lays down fat quicker that a deep fried lard sandwich,blunts your metabolism, kills off the enzymes that digest fat and more .Think of all the other acceptable poisons that affect our diets in similar ways.
  • Don’t eat from packets. I guarantee that any food that has been processed in any way is not how nature intended us to have it . by the time it’s been processed ,cooked , flavoured , stabilised , sugared , salted, hydrogenated, altered, chemically enhanced and then radiated in your microwave there wont be much left for you to feed on .You are paying for a empty box, no wonder they still leave you hungry

    I have “dieted” most my adult life, tried everything and I am still fat!

    When I sit down and think about what I actually eat, I would say 75% of the food is processed and you are right, it doesn’t fill me up at all.
